Early Bird registration is back!
UPDATE As the season is fast approaching, we encourage you to ensure you’re registered as soon as possible! Registrations are now at full price as our early bird period has ended. We have opened up a wait list/register interest for age groups that have currently reached capacity, and if a spot becomes available you will be notified. A reminder that early bird registrations final payments are due March 16th.
Two-part sign-up process
Player registration is a two-part process. Every player will be required to register with WWFC first, and then with Play Football. The club will send an email when Play Football registration opens. Payment for 2026 season will be made through the WWFC (not Play Football)
While we understand a single registration would be simpler, opening early registrations with WWFC is vital:
Early sign-up guarantees your spot and helps us form teams with certainty.
It prevents a last-minute scramble if some players don’t return.
Other clubs recruit players early, reducing the available player pool if we wait.
Changes to registration fees
In 2022, WWFC offered dramatically decreased registration prices for Miniroo, Junior Girls and Seniors Women’s registrations to encourage increased female participation. At the time, female player numbers were low and without this measure many girls may not have been able to continue at the club. The reduced fees were introduced to help build female teams and ensure girls could access the sport and the club.
This initiative has been a success — we now have strong female representation across multiple age groups, which is fantastic to see. With this growth, the decision has been made to gradually increase registration fees over the next three years so that they are in line with Miniroo, Junior and Senior Men’s prices. This practice is also bringing us into line with many other community clubs, where male and female registration fees are the same.
Football Victoria has been highly supportive of our push to grow female participation. Their support, combined with state and federal government, has resulted in significant investment in our facilities, including a $380,000 upgrade of female changing rooms and broader clubroom improvements, as well as the upgrades to the bottom oval starting this summer. These investments demonstrate the commitment to building a strong future for football at WWFC, across both boys’ and girls’ pathways from Miniroos through to Seniors.

Member expectation
Our community soccer club thrives on the dedication of our volunteers, who are the true heart of our club, ensuring every match and event happens smoothly. We believe in building a strong, inclusive environment where everyone can get involved and contribute, from coaching and team management to supporting game days.
As part of that we ask that a parent/guardian volunteer from each team to be a ‘team manager’. We also ask that parents/guardians help on game days as linesman, marshals and referees, and/or help set up match goals, and when rostered assist in the canteen.
Player uniform in 2026
Existing players will not need to purchase a new uniform for 2026.
Additional shirts, socks, shorts will be available for purchase from our supplier as required.
New players in 2026 will need to purchase a uniform as an additional cost to registration (Final price to be confirmed, as an indication 2025 price = $139.99 for Miniroo and Junior players)
